Tracey Harris
Artist Statement
"My work addresses gender roles and social norms with humor. The figures are active, bold protagonists exhibiting strength while mocking an idolized pinup style. The figures are often clothes in 1950s style aprons with tool belts or boxing gloves, taking on the role of provider or defender."
